Beautiful Destruction

Shredding wheels

jumping sparks

flying debris

of many kinds

rancid sounds

squealing and gnashing

crunching of metal like paper

twisting forces forming something new

glowing shards of fricition material

showing resistance and force applied

yet not safely resolved

such destruction

but I somehow survived

wondering why

I seek for a reason and find him

he who comforts and affirms and restores

And creates something from the old

more beautiful then before.

Through heat and friction

Comes creation and beauty

And refining

So from the trauma I will rise

stronger and better the before

because such is the cost of refining through christ
